Amateur radio station is called Amateur Radio station. Amateur radio is a radio set up by amateur radio amateurs for the purpose of testing transceiver equipment, conducting technical exchanges and discussions, training and competitions of communications. Only amateur receivers are allowed.


Amateur radio enthusiasts are very special "players" who have been paying close attention to promoting noble spirits and social responsibilities for more than 100 years. Despite the commercialization and utilitarianism of today's world, the American amateur radio amateur Paul Segal W9EEA's "amateur radio code" proposed in 1928 is still a motto unanimously quoted by almost all amateur radio organizations.


The collective amateur radio station, which is set up on the application of the group and is called by the group users, is often called the Club station in the world. Existing collective amateur radio stations in China are mostly set up by sports, education, science and technology associations and are the activity centers for organizing and training enthusiasts.

In order to facilitate management, the world and its territory are divided into several zones (ZONE) according to the geographical location of each country.

International zoning
There are two kinds of international zoning: ITU zoning of ITU and CQ zoning of CQ magazine of USA.

The ITU division divides the world into 75 zones, and China belongs to thirty-third, forty-second, forty-third, 44 and 50 of them.
The CQ division divides the world into 40 zones. China belongs to 23, 24, 26 and 27 districts.
