On September 20, Sumeida Shipping Co., Ltd., the parent company of Sumeida Shipping Co., Ltd., issued a notice saying that in order to upgrade the value chain of shipping business, it agreed that Jiangsu Sumeida Shipping Engineering Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary, and the other two companies would participate in the reorganization of Yangzhou Ocean Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

According to the characteristics of ocean shipbuilding products, Su Meida Ship has mainly carried out the market promotion of domestic trade through-river bulk carriers, which has been effective for half a year.

The news spread that a number of domestic trade ship owners began to contact Sumerida ships to build new domestic trade bulk carriers, negotiations progressed rapidly. Less than three months later, Su Meida signed two similar ships with Hunan Rongda Group, which laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the domestic trade product line of ocean shipbuilding.

It is understood that Sumeida Shipping Company is one of the six member companies of Jiangsu Sumeida Group Co., Ltd. It is a large state-owned enterprise specializing in new ship construction, ship modification, marine engineering, marine equipment and materials import and export business.
