Jiangnan Shipbuilding first got 80 thousand cubic meters LNG ship order
Jiangnan Shipbuilding announced the receipt of orders for two 80,000 cubic meters of LNG vessels, which is the first time that Jiangnan Shipbuilding entered the large LNG ship construction market. Meanwhile, after South Korean shipyards took over all 30 large LNG ships this year, the LNG ship order for shipbuilding in Jiangnan of Chinese shipyards.
It is reported that Jiangnan Shipbuilding recently signed a contract with Guangdong Jiufeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. for the construction of two 79800 cubic meters LNG vessels. The two ships are expected to be delivered in 2021.
Designed independently by Jiangnan Shipbuilding Company, the vessel is named "Sino-Flex". It is a handy LNG carrier specially designed for domestic LNG terminals. The capacity is 79800 cubic meters, equipped with dual fuel mainframe and generator to meet the requirements of the new IGC specification and Tier III. The liquid cargo hold adopts the patented technology of French GTT company Mark III Flex film type cargo envelope system.
